Customer Service Representative – Full-time/Part-time, Ouray
Overview:
Join our team at Citizens State Bank and be part of a community-focused, employee-owned company. As a Customer Service Representative at our Ouray branch, you'll be the face of the bank, engaging directly with the community we serve. This role involves handling day-to-day banking transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and supporting their use of digital banking platforms. We offer a dynamic work environment where integrity, resilience, and attention to detail are highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Previous banking experience is an advantage but not required.
- Unquestionable integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Resilient and positive attitude, capable of assertiveness and maintaining composure under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Sell banking products like cashier’s checks and safety deposit boxes.
- Provide information and answer customer queries both in person and over the phone.
- Promote and assist customers with online and mobile banking.
- Engage in ongoing learning and adaptation to meet the needs of our community.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary ranges between $17 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Operations Specialist – Full-time, Ouray
Overview:
At Citizens State Bank, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality banking products and services. We're dedicated to fostering success and sustainability within our communities. We are currently looking for an Operations Specialist for our Ouray branch. This role is central to leading our operations and supporting branch administration, with a focus on performance management, team building, resource management, and daily business operations.
Qualifications:
• Prior retail banking experience, preferred.
• Minimum three years in office management or operation, preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills beneficial; openness to new technologies.
• Strong initiative, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability in process improvement, performance feedback, and coaching.
• Team player with outstanding relationship management and soft skills.
Salary & Benefits:
• $50,000 to $60,000 - based on experience.
• Comprehensive benefits package.
