Internal Auditor - Full-time, location flexibility

Overview:

Join Citizens State Bank, a community-focused, employee-owned company in Ouray, as our full-time Internal Auditor. In this critical role, you'll conduct a range of audits across our branches (Ouray, Ridgway, Silverton, Naturita, Telluride, Mountain Village and Montrose) to ensure operational integrity and compliance with regulations. Your work will include assessing daily operations, disaster recovery procedures, and risk management policies, with findings reported directly to the Board of Directors. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our bank’s commitment to excellence and integrity within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience in banking, sales, or management is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a high level of integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel between branches as needed.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $45,000 - $60,000, dependent on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.

Operations Specialist - Full-time, Telluride/Mountain Village

Overview:

At Citizens State Bank, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality banking products and services. We're dedicated to fostering success and sustainability within our communities. We are currently looking for an Operations Specialist for our Telluride and Mountain Village branches. This role is central to leading our operations and supporting branch administration, with a focus on performance management, team building, resource management, and daily business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior retail banking experience, preferred.
  • Minimum three years in office management or operation, preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills beneficial; openness to new technologies.
  • Strong initiative, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability in process improvement, performance feedback, and coaching.
  • Team player with outstanding relationship management and soft skills.
  • Travel between Telluride and Mountain Village required as needed.

Salary & Benefits:

    • $55,000 to $65,000 - based on experience.
    • Comprehensive benefits package.
    • Additional Perks: Possible annual bonus, housing stipend, ski-pass allowance, etc.
